Heidi Tsai invited to perform world premier of re-discovered work by Leopold Kozeluch Heidi Tsai was invited by Jacques Ogg and the Lyra Baroque Orchestra (Minnesota, USA) to perform the world premier of a fortepiano concerto for 4 hands by a re-discovered composer from Prague, Leopold Kozeluch (1747-1818). Due to a family emergency, Mr. Ogg was unable to play, and he requested that Heidi replace him last-minute in Minnesota. Heidi flew out on 24-hour notice and performed on April 15 and 16, 2005, a program which included three pieces for four hands (with pianist Mari Tomizuka) and a Haydn symphony. She was received with a warm welcome, and enthusiastic feedback, both from the audience and musicians from the orchestra. "A World class pianist." |
