Barcelona Barroc is a highly selected chamber society whose goal is to provide tomorrow’s concert stage with exciting and sincere music of yesterday, performed by today’s young musicians of the highest calibre. All members of Barcelona Barroc perform on period instruments. Barcelona Barroc boasts adventurous choice in repertoire coupled with scholarly, informed performances.

Members of Barcelona Barroc live all over Europe, including France, Holland, England, Spain, and Sweden, and in addition, have performed in Europe, Asia, and North America. They are participating members, or have been invited to perform as soloists with prestigious groups such as Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, American Bach Soloists, the New Dutch Academy, Stockholm Baroque Orchestra, and the Drottningholm Baroque Ensemble, and have been in collaboration with distinguished personalities such as Ton Koopman, Nigel North, Rachel Podger, Trevor Pinnock, Paolo Pandolfo, Christopher Hogwood, Christian Zacharias, and Robert King.
